NON-PERISHABLE, an installation by Marina Münter
Sep 2017 @Berg by Nordan Art
According to the Oxford Dictionary, perishable, of something abstract, means “having a brief life or significance; transitory”.’
This started as one of my personal photo projects and each container holds distinct groups I can relate to. Non-Perishable was also my very first experience using Second Life as a creative platform. What started on a process of something 3D to become 2D through screenshots, was open to the public so they could create their own relations on regards of it.
The blue is about the sea and the trauma that comes with it.
The green is about wilderness.
The red is about regrets. Sins, if you believe in that.
The yellow is home.
The white is what you can’t avoid.
